Sennen - death Mar 1/4 1869 Scilly 5c 267
bur
St Marys, Isles of Scilly.
..............
Baptised
1807 Sennen: base
son of Christiana MURLEY - Father
unknown or at least unnamed and no Bastardy Bonds are recorded. As
Richard always carried the surname of Vingoe in the parish records, he was
probably the illegitimate son of one of two men [father & son] named Richard
Vingoe who lived in Sennen. Possibly placed by Richard Vingoe
[his grandfather] with the
LEGG family of Scilly, to learn trade of a Master Mariner,
He later married
Ursula LEGG, daughter of Stephen LEGG.
